Christian children in Colombia are in need of encouragement. Many are suffering at the hands of illegal armed groups and/or indigenous leaders who don’t want Christians in their communities.
In some areas, Christian children are forcibly recruited by illegal armed groups to fight in the conflict between paramilitary groups and the army. They need to feel safe and strong enough to say no to the gangs.
While in indigenous communities, Christian families are harassed by traditional leaders who view Christians as a threat to their culture and traditions. Here, Christians may be incarcerated or tortured by the leaders. Children in these families need encouragement.
Send a message of encouragement to these children who face being recruited or send a drawing to children living in indigenous communties. Pray that the Lord will remind them of their identity in Him and that it will give them strength to stand strong.
