VIDEO: The young Church in North Africa

The Church in North Africa is young, very young. Although the Church was present in the first centuries after Christ on the south coast of the Mediterranean Sea, after the rise of Islam in the seventh and eighth centuries it began to disappear. Only as recent as a few decades ago was a new Church planted in countries like Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Morocco. What are their challenges, and how does Open Doors strengthen and support them?

In a North African city, we meet with Ron van der Spoel, a Dutch pastor. Over the past five years, he has provided training on behalf of Open Doors to a group of North African pastors. In August 2017 he met these pastors for their last week of training together.
