International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Join us for a week of prayer for our persecuted family.

This November, believers across the country will gather to pray for Christians who are persecuted for their faith.

We invite you to join with them.

During our International Day of Prayer week, Open Doors Africa, in partnership with Jericho Walls, is holding a week of 24/7 prayer under the theme Dying Daily. At the heart of that week are in-person prayer meetings, where the Body of Christ comes together to stand with brothers and sisters who face violence, rejection and loss for following Jesus.

Why pray together?

When persecuted believers ask us how they can be supported, their answer is almost always the same: “Pray for us.” Gathering to pray as one Body is a powerful way to answer that call. At each meeting, you’ll hear real stories from countries where following Jesus comes at a great cost, and pray through specific needs shared by believers living there.
