The crisis is unfolding right now
Extremists have unleashed unprecedented violence on Christians in places like Nigeria, Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Millions of believers have been driven from their homes and are struggling to survive in makeshift displacement camps.
Pastor Barnabas is one of them. He and his family lived in a camp for nearly five years, and it’s hard to hold onto hope.
“Millions of Christians are displaced. But nobody talks about it,” says Pastor Barnabas. “We remain in darkness.”
In these camps, hunger is a daily struggle – men risk attack when they leave to find food, and women and children are left vulnerable. Every day without support is another day of hardship.
Pastor Barnabas and other church leaders in Africa are asking the global community to break the silence on their plight and help stop the violence.
