Empowering persecuted women to follow Jesus

In the challenging landscape of the Arabian Peninsula, home of Islam, people are turning to Jesus – and your support is discipling them.

All her life, Nadia* searched for the truth. She explored Islam and Buddhism before turning to New Age and occult practices. Nothing filled her emptiness, and she was angry and troubled.

Then Nadia encountered Jesus…

Countries such as Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar are among the 50 most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian. Those who convert from Islam are extremely vulnerable – and Christian women are persecuted for both their faith and their gender. In such countries, being a Christian is dangerous.

This is why your support is so vital. After years of isolation and loneliness, your gifts and prayers are connecting Nadia with other Christians, providing discipleship training and equipping her to share her faith.

“The first time I met other believers was one of the most wonderful experiences,” said Nadia. “I had prayed for this for a long time. It was very overwhelming.”

She added: “The idea of so many people around the world praying for me and this region also gives me hope. I know what it’s like to live in a spiritual desert – and now I have found the living water of Jesus. I want to share it with others.”

Help empower our persecuted family in faith, like Nadia, so they can be equipped to share the Gospel with those around them and receive various forms of training to help them grow in their faith. If you are able to do so, please donate to support them so they can bring the hope of Jesus to the dry places of their countries.
