In a country that’s home to a billion people, it’s hard to imagine how anyone could feel alone. And yet, that’s exactly how many of our brothers and sisters in India feel.
The enemy is out to destroy the Christian witness in India. Extremists want to wipe out Christianity. But our family in Christ is courageously holding onto their faith in the face of the fiercest persecution.
There is power in prayer. We can stand in the gap for our brothers and sisters in India, interceding on their behalf before God. Knowing that believers around the world are praying for them will strengthen them as they’re reminded that they’re not alone!
Sagar*, a pastor from India, who has faced much persecution, told us:
“I was greatly encouraged when I learnt that when we go through persecution, not only does the local church pray for us, but also the believers all over the world are praying for us. This knowledge gave me immense strength and joy.”
