Millions of Christian women and girls – usually already at a disadvantage in their society simply for being female are especially vulnerable to persecution. Sadly, their suffering is often invisible or ignored by those around them.

Chu* was beaten by her husband with a stick because of her faith. She was forced to leave her village. Thankfully, through the support of Open Doors partners, she was assisted with food relief and finances, especially during the pandemic. “The support you brought me really helped during those difficult times,” says Chu.
