Today, pray and speak out for Malaysian Pastor Raymond

On 16 May, the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia decided to resume the inquiry into pastor Raymond Koh’s disappearance. This development has given his wife new hope.

“I hope now, with the new government, that the investigation documents will not be put under the Official Secrets Act anymore, and I hope Raymond, Amri Che Mat, Joshua and Ruth Hilmy will be released soon,” she said in a newspaper interview.

A whistle-blower previously came forward with evidence of police complicity in the abductions. Sadly, he is now recanting his original statements, likely under pressure from the police.

PRAY
Please pray that truth and justice will prevail in the investigation into the disappearance of pastor Raymond and the three other abductees. Pray also for strength for their families as the inquiries are restarted.

SPEAK OUT
Partners of Open Doors in Malaysia are asking us to urgently contact the Malaysian High Commissioner to South Africa, urging them to expose the truth about the abductions and secure the release of all four.

Today, you can help by sending a letter on behalf of pastor Raymond, Amri Che Mat, and Joshua Hilmy and his wife Ruth. Click here to send us an email and we will reply with the relevant information and a letter that you can send to the Malaysian High Commission to South Africa.

Thank you for standing in the gap in prayer and advocacy.
