Description

Since Brother Andrew made his first journeys to Eastern Europe, the heart of Open Doors’ ministry has been to “strengthen what remains and is about to die” (Revelation 3:2). Today, this need is most pressing in Iraq and Syria, where over 500.000 Christians have been forced out of their homes in the last decade.

Now many believers are returning, only to discover their homes and churches damaged or destroyed. “Our house was looted,” says Luay. “It was a big mess, doors were stolen, windows broken.”

That’s where Open Doors comes in, bringing physical, emotional and spiritual restoration to persecuted Christians in war zones like this one. Luay continues, “We thank God for your help; we thank you that you encouraged us by making it possible to return to our village.”

Your Gift of Hope will go towards helping believers like Luay rebuild their homes and churches – to “strengthen what remains” of the diminished and fragile Church in these war-ravaged nations.

R3 600 Help rebuild a home or church in Iraq or Syria.
