Persecuted believers are grateful for you

Over the past year, as our persecuted brothers and sisters have needed your help, you heard their cries and were the hands and feet of Christ. They’re so thankful for the love and support you’ve shown them.

And as they continue to battle on the front lines of our faith, in some of the darkest places on earth, your gifts and support continue to mean so much to them…

“We lack words to express our joy and gratitude to Open Doors for this great assistance to us. To think that people don’t know us, yet had the heart to contribute to the preaching of the Gospel and to support those being persecuted in Mali is very encouraging and strengthening to us. All we have to say is thank you, and may the Lord richly reward you.”

– Pastor Amagana*, beneficiary of a motorcycle to help him with his ministry work in Mali

“I am writing to you whose name and face I don’t know, because I really want to say ‘THANK YOU’. I will always remember you and your loving support. I wish that one day I can meet you face to face.”

– A trafficked North Korean Christian woman*

“Thank you for your help. We don’t have words to express our gratitude for the food that was given to us. We don’t know the Open Doors chiefs, but we love them. The God of heaven and earth bless you.”

– Pastor Jose de Jesus, leader of a group of displaced Christians in Jalisco, Mexico

“It is good to know people have a heart for the persecuted Church. People who care about us and are involved with us in our situation and want to support us. You and your work are an encouragement for the body of Christ in Syria. Thank you for your support and your willingness to even take the risk and come visit us.”

– Pastor Edward, Damascus, Syria
