Help meet a R300 000 goal to provide safe houses for persecuted Christians

Selina lives in one of the most dangerous places on earth for Christians.

April E-Appeal

Her father is a pastor who failed to return from a trip to minister to threatened and vulnerable Believers from a Muslim Background (BMBs). Rumours say he’s been abducted – or worse.

Without her father’s protection, Selina and her mother and brother became prime targets for the extremist groups operating in the region. When she had to flee, she found it so hard to leave her home behind. She worried that if her father did return, he wouldn’t be able to find his family.

“I hope that if my dad is looking for us, then the trail of my tears will lead him to me,” she said.

Despite her grief and worry, Selina was thankful to find protection at one of the Open Doors safe houses provided through local partners in her country.

Right now, there’s a need to fund three safe houses in Selina’s country to care for dozens of Christians who are forced to flee their homes.

Your gift below to help meet the R300 000 goal will help cover essential practical needs, including rent and security, utility bills, food and legal protection when necessary.

But you’ll also be doing so much more! Your gift will provide not just a place to stay, but also spiritual counselling, respite and renewal for these believers who have endured such terror and uncertainty.

Thank you for being a part of the answer to this prayer for so many – as you help meet the R300 000 goal to provide safe houses for threatened believers like Selina. We’re grateful!
