\nnow reports that Assad is in Moscow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike all Syrians, the Christian community is stunned by this rapid change in Syria\u2019s political
\nreality,\u201d says Chris Summers, global head of content at Open Doors. \u201cIn this kind of situation,
\nuncertainty is always present \u2013 no one knows how the new leadership in Syria will treat
\nminorities, including Christians. Believers there have endured so much, and many likely
\nremember the worst treatment under some groups at the height of the civil war.\u201d<\/p>\n

Open Doors calls on the global community to uphold the people of Syria \u2013 especially the
\nChristian minority \u2013 in prayer, and to advocate for peace and stability in the region. \u201cSyrian

\nto pray that they will be lights of hope and peace in the midst of a chaotic time in Syria\u2019s
