Die mans se ontvoering is volgens berigte bevestig deur die groep nadat hulle die paspoortfoto\u2019s van \u0149 Egiptiese-, Nigeriese- en Ghanese man gepubliseer het.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Volgens Reuters het die berugte Islamitiese ekstremiste groep, die Islamitiese Staat (IS), in \u0149 verklaring verantwoordelikheid vir die ontvoering van drie Afrika-Christene in Libi\u00eb aanvaar.<\/p>\n<p>In die verklaring wat op sosiale media gepubliseer is, het IS ges\u00ea dat die mans afkomstig is vanaf Egipte, Nigeri\u00eb en Ghana. Die groep het die mans se paspoortfoto\u2019s as bewys en bevestiging van hul bewering gepubliseer. Daar word beweer dat die mans op 11 Julie terwyl hulle die land binnegekom het, gevange geneem is.<\/p>\n<p>Die Cairo Post berig dat onderhandelinge onderweg is om die vrylating van 21-jarige Bikhet Nageh (van Egipte) deur die betaling van \u0149 losprys te bewerkstellig. Die Nigeriese gevange is deur This Day Live as Adeola Ibrahim ge\u00efdentifiseer. Die Libya Herald het ook \u0149 foto van die Ghanese gevangene, Sekyere, in \u0149 oranje oorpak gepubliseer. Volgens berigte het die ontvoering plaasgevind naby die IS-beheerde stad van Sirte.<\/p>\n<p>Vroeg in Junie vanjaar, het IS 88 Eritrese Christene in Libi\u00eb ontvoer. Die Christene is volgens die Libya Herald gevange geneem tydens \u0149 hinderlaag op \u0149 mensehandelaar-konvooi naby Oum Walid. Die groep is na bewering ook verantwoordelik vir die ontvoering en onthoofding van groepe van 21 Koptiese Christene en 28 Etiopiese Christene vroe\u00ebr vanjaar.<\/p>\n<p>Die Egiptiese regering het volgens berigte hul burgers gewaarsku om nie na Libi\u00eb te reis nie, maar talle Egiptenare en Afrikane reis na Libi\u00eb in \u0149 poging om werk te verkry in die ryk olie- en gasindustrie\u00eb.
