Hy het ernstige brandwonde opgedoen aan die helfte van sy kop, asook sy nek en hand. Alvaro het alreeds, in die bestek van slegs 6 maande, soveel as 26 operasies ondergaan&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Novita en haar man kon onlangs, na 10 ure van nog \u0149 veloorplantingsoperasie, \u0149 sug van verligting gee dat Alvaro (hul enigste kind) nie verdere inspuitings en operasie aan sy kopvel hoef te ondergaan nie.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEk is altyd gespanne wanneer ek moet sien hoe hy deur al daardie prosedures gaan. Ek het eenkeer vir hom gevra of hy die behandeling wil stop, omdat ek dit nie meer kom hanteer om hom so te sien swaarkry voor, gedurende en na die operasie nie. Maar hy is baie sterker as ek. Hy het vir my ges\u00ea, \u2018Dit is oukei mamma. Ek is oukei. Ek kan die inspuitings hanteer, solank dit ons beter en vinniger huis toe neem na Samarinda!\u2019 Hy is so \u0149 dapper en sterk seun,\u201d<\/em> het Novita trots ges\u00ea die dag na die operasie.<\/p>\n<p>Die derde, en finale, veloorplantingsoperasie op die 3de September, in Kuala Lumpur, Maleisi\u00eb, beteken dat Alvaro se kopvel weer normaal sal kan hare groei soos vantevore.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOns haal \u0149 bietjie makliker asem nou dat nog een van hierdie aaklige fases verby is,\u201d<\/em> het sy glimlaggend ges\u00ea, alhoewel sy steeds vermoeid gelyk het tydens \u0149 video-oproep met medewerkers van Geopende Deure. Vir die afgelope agt maande moes sy probeer om \u0149 balans te handhaaf tussen haar werk in Samarinda en om in Kuala Lumpur te wees by Alvaro. Haar man het van sy werk bedank om voltyds na Alvaro om te sien.<\/p>\n<p>Gedurende die oproep, het Alvaro op sy bed gesit, \u0149 bietjie stiller as gewoonlik, maar steeds met sy mooiste glimlag en ges\u00ea,<em> \u201cDankie vir julle gebede. Mag Jesus julle se\u00ebn!\u201d<\/em> Sy kop is na die operasie aan pype vas om voorsiening te maak vir dreinering. Dus kon hy nie vrylik rondbeweeg nie, en kon hy net op sy een sy l\u00ea. Dit sal \u0149 paar dae neem vir hom om weer homself te wees.<\/p>\n<p>Sy pad tot totale herstel is nog nie verby nie&#8230; Die dokters is tans besig om die volgende stap te bespreek, en dit is om sy vingers en die letsels in sy gesig te herstel.
